Logbok , ”Denne nordiska angelägenhet är värd all uppmärksamhet.

…”I particularly enjoyed the dance sessions, …., I liked the way you explained the dance and the setting, and music”.

Gill Winter Flying Piglets & The Upstairs Room , Taranaki, New Zealand

Faerd gave a fantastic concert at The Upstairs Room last night. …there's an impressive variety of songs and music from Sweden, Denmark, the Faroe Islands and the Shetland Islands. The trio works very tightly together, often building on fairly straightforward melodies to produce fascinating and intricate arrangements.
They have a lovely relaxed attitude on stage and had a great rapport with our audience

Marcus Turner Dunedin, New Zealand

“The new lineup is tight….Jens' bouzouki provides a solid, lively backing for the fiddle and saxophone solos”..
“Færd's performance was a rare treat, and the audience yelled for more.
They were still talking about the concert days afterwards, and looking forward to a return visit”.

Thorbjørn Sjøgren, Danish magazine Folk & Musik

Færd’s music, both live and on CD, is a joy to the ear…

Jim Lee, Dirty Linen,USA

The interplay between viola, accordeon and saxophone works exceptionally well …

Søren Chr.Kirkegaard, Danish national daily Jyllands Posten

The beautiful voice is a fine match for the gentle poetry and the intense drama of the medieval ballads … Romme’s lyric and colourful soprano saxophone is impressive…

Michael Moll, www.FolkWorld.de

The result is rather impressive: a beautiful combination of old traditional music and modern influences, open-minded and masterfully presented… The combination of these musicians works incredibly well... A strong album of Northern European music, enjoyable from the first to the last minute…

Jennifer Hanson, Rambles. www.rambles.net

It’s difficult to single out high points on Faerd, for it meshes together so well.

Romme’s soprano sax …,here it gives the music a distinctive flavour not often found in folk.
